The prize winners in the 8th Tokyo Anime Award have been decided by Tokyo International Anime Fair Executive Committee.

The Tokyo Anime Awards has two broad entry categories; Nomination Entries, selected from the commercial animation works that broadcasts, was screened, and sold in the 1 year, and Open Entries, which are submitted works from general public.

Award Ceremony will be held during the Tokyo International Anime Fair 2009.
