For Business Day
Q:Can the general public attend on the Business Day (March 25(Thu) and 26(Fri))?
A:No. As March 25(Thu) and 26(Fri) are allotted as business days, the general public will not be able to attend on those days. In order to maintain a proper business environment, individuals under the age of 18 will not be admitted.
Q:What do I need to enter on the Business Day?
A:We have online “pre-registration for Business Day“ from January 15(Fri) to March 23(Tue), 2010. You can enter the event for free if you have pre-registrated there. If not, you will need 1,000 JPY for the ticket on the day. Also, please note that you will need business cards at the front desk for entrance.
Q:Can I attend a symposium on that day?
A:If there are some vacant seats, you might attend the symposium even if the application for symposium is closed. Please ask at the front desk for symposium entrance.
Q:I registered “pre-registration for Business Day” and “Application for Symposium”, but I have not received an automatic reply e-mail yet. How can I enter the site?
A:The automatic reply e-mail might be rejected by server as spam e-mail, so please register again. Although you registered again, you could not receive the automatic reply e-mail yet, please bring your business card at the front desk for entrance. The entrance staff will inquire of your registration information.

About Ticket
Q:Where can I get the ticket for Public Day?
A:Please see “Tickets” page on the official web site.
Q:Can I enter both days of Public Day with one ticket?
A:No. Ticket is valid on the day of issue only, March 27(Sat) or 28(Sun). If you want to enter both days, please get tickets for each.
Q:Is there any limitation of copies for the today’s ticket?
A:No. But please note that there might be restricted admission by congestion.
Q:On the official web site, it says “Elementary school children and younger, senior citizens (over 65 years old), and disabled persons and their attendants are free of charge”. Please tell us further information for this. And also, please let us know how to enter with those people.
A:- Elementary school children and younger includes children of elementary school, kindergarten and nursery school, can enter the event for free.
– Senior citizens over 65 years old can enter for free with ID (e.g. driver’s license).
– Disabled persons can enter for free with the physical disability certificate (handicapped ID card). It allows the holder and 2 attendants free entrance.
About Entrance on the Day
Q:Is it possible to enter the site quickly on the morning of the event?
A:No. Around 5,000 people will wait in a queue before opening every year. Please note that there will be congestion this year, too.
Q:I’m planning to visit the event with my child. Is the congestion of opening safe for children?
A:We will prepare “Family Entrance” separated from the public entrance. People with elementary school students and younger child will be able to use this entrance. Also, for secure safety and reducing congestion, the opening time of Family Entrance might be later than 10:00.
Q:I have an invitation ticket. Can I enter by priority?
A:No. Please wait in a queue even if you have the invitation ticket, advance ticket or today’s ticket.
Q:Can I enter the site by priority if I come to have business meeting?
A:No. Even the business purpose, you cannot enter the site by priority. We have Business Day, March 25(Thu) and 26(Fri), to provide meeting space for those who come to have business meeting.
Q:When can I start waiting in a queue on the morning of the event?
A:Usually around 6 am. But depending on the condition, we might open earlier time.
Q:Can I get in line for entrance through the night?
A:No. TAF does not appreciate the waiting through the night because of the infants guard and safety reason.
Q:Can I take part in the event as a volunteer staff?
A:Sorry, TAF does not recruit any volunteer staff.
Q:Can I re-enter the event site?
A:Yes. Please get a stamp at the East 1 exit, then you can re-enter the site as many times as you need for free. The stamp will be valid on day of issue only.
About the Fair and Event
Q:Can I buy goods at the event site?
A:Yes. You can get the goods at each booth and “TAF Shop” and “Anime Bazaar.” For more information about goods, please contact each exhibitor.

Q:How do I get information of the Public Stage?
A:You will need the Public Day ticket of TAF2010. For details, please see the “Tickets”. Also, TAF shifts the audience by each public stage. For details of start time or numbered ticket, please see the latest information at TAF News and “Timetable”.
Q:What kind of event will be hold at each booth or stage? Who will attend as guests?
A:The latest news will be on TAF official web site. For details, please contact each exhibitor or organizer of the event directly.

Q:Is shooting permitted at the event site?
A:Excepted press people, you cannot take photo at the hall in principle. Although photography is permitted at the public booth, please follow an instruction of the staff.
Q:How many numbered tickets of public stage will be distributed for each?
A:You can have ONE numbered ticket per person for public stage which TAF organizes.
For other public stage, please ask directly for each organizer of the stage.

Q:Can I eat and drink at the event site?
A:Yes. There is a food court at the site and you can also eat and drink at restaurants of “Tokyo Big Sight”.
Q:Can I bring lunch in the site?
A:Sorry, there is no free space for eat and drink.
Q:Can I leave my luggage at the event site?
A:Sorry, TAF dose not have cloak for the event.
Please use coin lockers at the “Tokyo Big Sight”.
Q:Is there nursing room? Can I leave my baby carriage at the site?
A:Sorry, we do not have either for TAF2010 site.
For the nursing room, please use the nursing room at the “Tokyo Big Sight”.
Q:Is cosplay permitted at TAF2010 on Public Day?
A:No. Cosplay is not permitted at TAF2010 regardless of Business Day or Public Day.
Q:Where do I ask if I left something at the site?
A:Lost property will be reported at TAF Main Secretariat of EAST 2 Hall or the lost property center of Tokyo Big Sight, so please contact following:

About Press
A:There is “press registration” on TAF official web site. You can pre-register there from February 10(Wed) to March 23(Tue), 2010.
Q:Can I use photos that I take at the event for publication or other media?
A:Yes, but please get permission from the staff of eash booth before you take photos or publish them.
Q:Can I cover at site without press registration?
A:Yes, but if you did not finish press registration, it might take a while to register on the day. Also, please note that some special camera will not be allowed to use arond the site. We suggest you to pre-register preferably.
Q:How many people and exhibitors did attend TAF last year?

Q:Where can I get the latest press release?

Q:Let me know about coverage regulation.
A:* Please get permission from exhibitors when you cover or take photos of their booth.
* Please note that you cannot cover some stage events depending on their program.
* Please get permission from the rights holder when you use/run photos that you took at the event.
* DO NOT use photos in other media which you did not get permission from the rights holders.
* We immediately report to Kanda Police Station if we find someone pose as a press and take photos of idols, voice actors or other performers to sell at online auctions or other place.
* DO NOT use any photos of public people.
